Senior -Numerical modeler / Coastal Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Numerical modeler / Coastal Engineer to join our team in Chennai. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and applying advanced numerical models to analyze and solve complex coastal engineering problems.

• Develop, calibrate, and validate numerical models for coastal and marine environments
• Analyze coastal processes, including hydrodynamics, sediment transport, and wave dynamics
• Design and implement coastal protection strategies and erosion control measures
• Conduct data analysis and create visualizations to support decision-making processes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on coastal engineering projects
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in numerical modeling techniques and coastal engineering practices
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders
• Contribute to the development of innovative solutions for coastal management and climate change adaptation
