We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will :

Champion in Agile testing principles and practices in the team

Provide Quality and Testing related input during Inception phase

Collaborate with the team and be responsible for preventing defects.

Propose test strategy options that address the quality needs of the product, and lead the team in modifying the testing strategy over the course of the project

Include in the test strategy, the testing scope of the project, responsibilities, environments required, testing approach, tools, testing schedule, reporting and resource requirements

Ensure test automation remains valuable as a feedback mechanism and guides team to optimize for speed, robustness, and coverage

Support the Product Owner and Business Analyst in the definition of acceptance criteria and refinement of scope

Learn about the product and provide this information to the rest of the team through collaboration

Collaborate with Developers to create acceptance tests on the basis of defined acceptance criteria

Prioritize test efforts, taking into account the operational and technical risks

Facilitate triaging of defects at appropriate frequency

Collaborate with the developers and Business Analyst to sign off user stories

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements :

Should have 8+ years of experience

Must have experience with Functional Testing, JAVA API testing, Cron jobs Testing (preferred experience in Regulatory relevant applications FATCA and CRS)

Must be good at SQL queries and good to have knowledge in Mongo database

Must have experience in Postman, Insomnia and automation tool Selenium with Java

Good to have knowledge of Kubernetes Platform,

Defect tracking and closure with all stake holders, should have experience in JIRA

Should be having very good written & verbal communication skills

Experience working in Agile, or knowledge of the key principles of the methodology

Self-starter, who can work pro-actively with minimum supervision
