Clinical Data Analyst - Oncology Research

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology, the ability to understand and interpret medical terminology from Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and medical reports, and the expertise to extract and analyze data from patient notes.

The role requires proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Sheets and Excel, along with the ability to correlate medical data to meet specific requirements. Key Responsibilities :

• Interpret Inclusion and Exclusion criteria outlined in clinical trials on clinicaltrials.gov and study protocols, assessing patient eligibility for clinical trials.
• Extract relevant data from patient notes, EHRs, patient information, medical history, laboratory / pathology results, diagnoses, and treatments to support oncology research and clinical decision-making.
• Medical Terminology : Interpret complex medical terms related to oncology ensuring accurate data extraction and analysis.
• Maintain and manage datasets using Google Sheets and Excel, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Correlation and Interpretation : Analyze medical data to identify patterns and correlations that align with project requirements.
• Quality Assurance : Conduct regular quality checks and validation of extracted data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
