Apply in 3 Minutes : Lead Commissioning Engineer – Turbine Valve Systems

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Commissioning Engineer to oversee the complete execution of turbine valve servicing and commissioning activities. The role involves hands-on leadership in calibration, testing, and integration of TG Governing Valves, Stop Valves, and HP / LP Bypass Valves.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and supervise servicing of servo actuators (cylinders, NRV, PRV, orifice, cut-off valves, filters)

Oversee stroke / travel calibration, zero / span setting of servo / moog valves

Perform LVDT adjustments and final calibration checks

Plot linearity and hysteresis curves for full-scale deflection

Coordinate with client / EIC for inspection and sign-off

Ensure safety compliance and documentation integrity

Guide technicians and instrumentation engineers during execution

Required Skills & Experience :

Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering

Minimum 8–10 years of experience in turbine valve commissioning

Strong knowledge of servo / moog valve calibration, LVDT setup, and hydraulic systems

Familiarity with Woodward / Siemens / ABB control systems (preferred)

Ability to interpret OEM manuals, QAPs, and calibration protocols

Excellent leadership, documentation, and client coordination skills

Additional Requirements :

Willingness to work on-site during AOH shutdown

Proficiency in pressure testing, data logging, and curve plotting

Strong commitment to safety and housekeeping standards
