Shift Timing : Night Shift (6 : 30 PM – 3 : 30 AM)

Working Days : 5 Days a Week

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly organized Medical Eligibility Verification (EV) Specialist to join our Mental Health Department. In this role, you will ensure accurate verification of insurance coverage for mental health services, facilitating smooth claims processing and minimizing delays. Your role will support both patients and healthcare providers by confirming eligibility for mental health treatments, ensuring compliance with insurance requirements, and maintaining up-to-date records.

Key Responsibilities :

• Verify Mental Health Insurance Eligibility : Confirm insurance coverage for mental health services, including therapy, counseling, and psychiatric care, prior to treatment.
• Liaise with Insurance Providers : Communicate with insurance companies through calls and online portals to verify coverage, benefits, co-pays, deductibles, and prior authorization requirements for mental health services.
• Document Verification Details : Accurately record all eligibility details into internal systems, ensuring precise and up-to-date information for claim submissions.
• Coordinate with Internal Teams : Work closely with mental health providers, billing teams, and other internal departments to address and resolve eligibility-related issues or discrepancies.
• Ensure HIPAA Compliance : Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient data in full compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Meet Key Metrics : Consistently meet productivity, accuracy, and quality targets related to insurance verification in a timely manner.
