About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Senior Engineer with a strong DevOps foundation and expertise in building secure, automated CI / CD pipelines.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable DevSecOps solutions for diverse development environments including Java, Hybris, JavaScript, Python, .Net Core, and .Net.

You will work at the intersection of development, operations, and security, enabling rapid and reliable software delivery while ensuring compliance with best practices and security guidelines.

In this role, you will act as both a technical expert and a guide for the development and operations teams, driving innovation in automation, orchestration, and pipeline management.

Key Responsibilities :

Pipeline Architecture & Enhancement : Provide architectural guidance for Jenkins pipeline design, enhancement, and troubleshooting of build, deploy, and environment issues.

CI / CD Automation : Establish and maintain fully automated CI / CD pipelines, covering build, test, security scanning, and deployment stages across multiple technology stacks.

Groovy Scripting & Pipeline Libraries : Develop and maintain Jenkins scripted pipelines and shared library components to ensure reusable, maintainable automation code.

Integration with DevSecOps Tools : Configure and integrate tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Artifactory, SonarQube, Octopus Deploy, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift to enhance delivery workflows.

Security & Compliance : Implement vulnerability scanning, OSS management (BlackDuck, FOSSID), and secure code practices directly into the CI / CD process.

Configuration Management : Use Ansible for system provisioning and configuration automation across Linux / Unix and Windows environments.

Incident & Alert Management : Monitor infrastructure and services through New Relic and Splunk; respond promptly to alerts and resolve issues proactively.

Process Improvement : Design innovative build and deployment strategies to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and shorten release cycles.

Agile Collaboration : Work in Scrum / Kanban environments, actively participating in stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Documentation & Training : Maintain technical documentation, migration plans, and provide training to team members on pipeline best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

Core DevOps Expertise : Minimum 6+ years in DevOps with at least 4 years in CI / CD pipeline creation and automation.

Jenkins Mastery : Extensive experience with Jenkins scripted pipelines and shared libraries (Groovy scripting mandatory).

Toolchain Integration : Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions, Artifactory, SonarQube, Octopus Deploy, Docker, Kubernetes, and / or OpenShift.

Automation & Provisioning : Strong skills in Ansible for system configuration.

System Administration : Deep understanding of Linux / Unix and Windows system administration.

Security Tools : Knowledge of OSS management tools like BlackDuck or FOSSID and vulnerability scanning best practices.

Monitoring Tools : Proficiency with New Relic and Splunk for alert and incident management.

Soft Skills :
