Job Purpose : Drive profitable, compliant MF growth via channel partnerships, deep relationships, and disciplined execution to build resilient core assets.
Reporting To : Zonal Head of Sales
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Drive mutual fund sales through national distributors and banking partners in the Mumbai region.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and channel partners to enhance market share.
- Conduct regular meetings with distributors and clients to understand their needs and ensure effective feedback communication within the organization.
- Identify, onboard, and activate new distributors to increase overall share of business.
- Strengthen long-term core assets through consistent incremental net sales.
- Improve collections and boost market presence through effective brand engagement initiatives.
- Ensure continuous relationship management to generate repeat and referral business.
- Monitor competitor activities and market shifts to provide timely strategic feedback to senior management.
- Execute sales strategies and achieve defined business objectives and performance targets.
Knowledge And Skills Required
Strong understanding of capital markets and distribution dynamics in the mutual fund industry.Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively across internal and external stakeholders.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Self-motivated with a positive attitude, leadership mindset, and strong execution orientation.NISM VA certification required or to be completed prior to joining.Educational Qualifications
MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree in business, finance, or related discipline.Skills Required
