Job Title : Senior Data Analyst

About the Role :

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with a strong foundation in Agile and Scrum methodologies to support our data-driven initiatives. This role requires a mix of project management expertise, data analysis skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient delivery of data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Agile Methodology & Scrum Framework
  • Configure and maintain project management tools (Atlassian JIRA & Confluence).
  • Support agile practices through team coaching, training, and operational improvements.
  • Facilitate Grooming, Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Ceremonies, and Retrospectives.
  • Ensure team compliance with JIRA management and drive continuous improvement.

Project Management :

  • Monitor progress against project schedules and deliverables.
  • Manage day-to-day team activities and create performance reports at both workstream and organizational levels.
  • Proactively identify risks, issues, and bottlenecks, driving timely resolutions.

    • Customer & Data Collaboration :

  • Partner with stakeholders to interpret data and resolve issues.
  • Work with data owners and stewards to implement governance, quality, security, and privacy standards.
  • Prepare technical specifications for data ingestion, transformation, and modeling.
  • Collaborate with data architects to design data models for optimal data consumption.

    • Standards & Best Practices :

  • Contribute to development of standards, documentation templates, and agile methodologies within the Data Analysis team.
  • Perform discovery and end-to-end data analysis to assess needs and improve data quality.
  • Translate business and data requirements into comprehensive data product solutions, including reviewing :
  • Data models (ER diagrams, dimensional models)
  • ETL / business rules
  • Metadata, lineage, and reporting frameworks

    • Requirements :

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, requirements gathering, and technical specifications for data solutions.
  • Proven expertise in Agile Methodology & Scrum practices.
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and data management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, quality, and modeling techniques.
  • Certification preferred : PMP or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
