The Role
- The Integration Solution Architect (Industrial SaaS / OT–IT Architecture) will define and lead company’s global integration architecture across industrial and enterprise systems.
- Reporting to the VP of Technology & Architecture, this leader will own the end-to-end design of integration frameworks, data pipelines, and orchestration models that connect company’s Connected Worker Platform with APM, MES, SCADA, Historian, and ERP systems.
- This role is both architectural and visionary — combining hands-on API design, industrial data expertise, and AI-assisted automation to deliver a single source of truth between the plant floor and the enterprise.
How You Will Make An Impact
1. Architect the Unified OT–IT Integration Framework
Define the integration reference architecture that unites Industrial OT systems (OSI PI, Aveva, GE, Honeywell, Yokogawa, Emerson, AspenTech, SCADA, MES) with Enterprise IT systems (SAP, IBM Maximo, Oracle EBS, Infor, JD Edwards).Design secure, scalable, real-time integration pipelines using API-led, event-driven, and AI-augmented orchestration patterns.Establish a unified data model and semantic layer to normalize plant, maintenance, and asset data across systems.2. Leverage AI and Intelligent Orchestration
Embed AI Agents to automate data mapping, error reconciliation, and integration health monitoring.Use Cursor.AI, ChatGPT, and Bolt.AI to generate integration adapters, documentation, and test stubs at 10× speed.Implement AI-driven anomaly detection on data streams to identify sync failures, latency, or schema drift proactively.3. Build Reliability, Security, and Observability
Instrument integrations with Sentry, Datadog, and custom telemetry dashboards to monitor uptime, message latency, and data accuracy.Define and enforce security, authentication, and compliance standards (OAuth2, TLS, ISO 27001, SOC 2).Implement automated RCA workflows using AI summarization and pattern-based correlation.4. Collaborate Across Domains
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to define integration roadmaps aligned with customer needs.Work with OT vendors (Aveva, Honeywell, GE, OSI PI) and IT partners (SAP, IBM Maximo, Oracle) to co-innovate standardized connectors and plug-ins.Guide customer solution architects through design reviews, ensuring extensibility and reusability of every integration asset.5. Mentor and Standardize
Establish the Integration Center of Excellence (CoE) with reusable frameworks, templates, and best practices.Coach Solution Architects and Engineers on AI-First integration design and telemetry-based validation.Author the Integration Architecture Playbook, covering architecture diagrams, API standards, and testing frameworks. What You Bring to The Team
12 – 18 years of software / integration experience with at least 5 years designing industrial or enterprise integration architectures.Deep hands-on expertise in OT systems (APM, SCADA, MES, Historian — OSI PI, Aveva, GE, Honeywell, AspenTech) and IT systems (SAP PM / MM, IBM Maximo, Oracle EBS, Infor).Proven experience in REST, GraphQL, MQTT, OPC UA, Kafka, and API management platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, or AWS AppFlow).Practical exposure to AI-assisted development tools (ChatGPT, Cursor.AI, Bolt.AI, Testim) and telemetry systems (Sentry, Datadog, CloudWatch).Strong understanding of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure), security standards, and industrial data models.Exceptional cross-functional communication skills and ability to influence enterprise and plant-level stakeholders. Why does this Role Matter?
The Integration Solution Architect is the critical bridge between the control room and the boardroom. By building intelligent pipelines between OT and IT, this leader ensures that company's platform becomes the digital nervous system of industrial operations — where AI, data, and human action flow seamlessly. This role defines how information moves, decisions accelerate, and value multiplies across every site, every asset, and every user.
