Job Description

We are looking for an Agronomist (Procurement-focused) to strengthen our farm-level sourcing and raw material supply chain for dehydrated vegetable processing. The candidate will be responsible for working with farmers, monitoring crops, ensuring timely procurement, and maintaining raw material quality.

The role requires a combination of agronomy expertise and procurement management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and engage with farmers and FPOs (Farmer Producer Organizations) for sourcing key crops.
• Plan and monitor crop cultivation cycles based on production requirements.
• Ensure timely procurement of farm produce with focus on quality, consistency, and cost-efficiency .
• Guide farmers on seeds, soil health, fertilizers, pest / disease control , and sustainable practices.
• Train and support farmers in residue-free / organic cultivation to meet quality standards.
• Coordinate between farms and the factory procurement / production teams.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, farmer contracts, and yield data.
• Build long-term relationships with farming communities to secure supply stability.
