We are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager with a strong background in corporate accounting to manage the finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will bring maturity, clarity in accounting principles , and hands-on expertise across multiple functions including GST, payroll This is a pivotal role that requires ownership, responsibility, and a thorough understanding of end-to-end accounting processes.
What will you be doing?
- Maintaining Computerised Books of Accounts and entering various
accounting transactions in books.
Creation of customers and vendors in the booksProcess invoices, receipts, payments, and reimbursements promptly.Prepare and maintain petty cash records.Preparation of Cash, Bank, and Journal Vouchers, Accounting of theVouchers in Books,
Monthly GST returns, TDS and Professional tax.Bookkeeping Understanding 100% - Raising invoices, bills, petty cash, bank reconciliationsGST Understanding 50% - Understand what are the applicable rates, how to determine those, taking GST credits, GSTR1 and GSTR 3B3.TDS Understanding 50% - Understand the applicability, different slabs and submitting returns.Software tools for accounting and proficiency in excel, reports etc.Making Purchase entries and Sales entriesPreparation of Bank Reconciliation StatementVerify vendor payments with a purchase order, goods received note, andinvoice.
Support payroll processing by maintaining attendance and staff expenserecords.
Salary Calculation of EmployeesQualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting preferred (or equivalentqualification).
1–2 years of experience in a similar role.Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software (ZohoBooks or equivalent).
Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
