Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Proposal Specialist, based in Chennai. The Proposal Specialist will be responsible for managing and developing proposals, including writing and assembling responses to RFPs (Requests for Proposals). The role involves collaborating with teams to gather necessary information, ensuring compliance with proposal requirements, and meeting strict deadlines. Additionally, the Proposal Specialist will assist in coordinating proposal deliverables and maintaining process documentation.
• Responsibilities :
• Develop responses to RFP / RFQ primarily in the area of SaaS applications and IT Consulting Services
• Lead the preparation and submission of winning proposals
• Work with team members to respond to Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), statement of qualifications (SOQs)
• Manage the proposal development process to ensure on-time delivery of compelling, compliant, and well-written proposals
• Conduct pre-proposal and post-proposal presentations, demos
• Manage security assessments and questionnaires for new and existing accounts
• Manage Statements of Work (SOW) and contracts for new and existing accounts
• Keep the team informed of changes and generate creative ideas while working both independently and collaboratively
• Coordinate information and tasks with departments in the company
• Gather information from clients, and other partners or vendors to accurately determine projected costs and fees
• Prepare a written proposal to communicate our company’s ability to effectively meet the project’s needs at a reasonable price
• Communicate all necessary liabilities and costs of proposed contracts to management
• Work with management and other departments to determine proper bid pricing
• Maintain, augment and improve library of reusable components, templates, and processes to reduce response time and improve quality on future proposals
• Manages proposal deadline by establishing priorities and target dates
