Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. seeks a dedicated Systems Developer for our esteemed Bengaluru team.

In this role, you will :

Analyze requirements, design, and develop application components and services

Understand application architecture and codebase, resolving defects swiftly while maintaining high quality

Perform system analysis and prepare detailed documentation, including software design specifications, unit test cases, and release notes

Ensure all activities are performed with accuracy and compliance by writing clean, flawless code with detailed exception and error handling

Assist with database design

Coordinate with operations staff for the deployment of applications

Work with business partners to analyze and address support requests, including providing training

Perform unit and system tests, and as needed, validation testing, ensuring comprehensive JUnit test coverage

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (BE, B Tech, ME, M Tech, BCA / MCA, BSC / M Sc) with a proven track record in the IT industry

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

Proficient with frontend languages like JavaScript (ES6+), JSX, TypeScript, TSX, React.js (class & functional components), React lifecycle methods, React hooks, React Native, and React Navigation / Router

Experience with React Testing Library, Enzyme, and Jest

Skilled in CSS / SCSS, Bootstrap, and React Native StyleSheet for styling

Knowledgeable in state management using Redux, Context API, Redux Thunk / Saga

Expertise in Java 8, including predicate, lambda expressions, streams, Collections API, Concurrency API

Strong understanding of data structures, multithreading, OOAD, and design patterns

Hands-on experience with JEE : JDBC, Hibernate, JPA, JMS

Familiar with frameworks such as Spring, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot

Proficient in REST / SOAP web services

Authority in debugging on both local and virtual machines

Skilled in writing DML and DDL queries using SQL, PL / SQL, as well as performance tuning and query optimization

Experience with Junit and Mockito for testing

Familiar with servers like Tomcat 6 and 8.x

Proficient with Linux / Unix, Git / SVN, Maven, CI / CD, Docker
