Saasvaap - Cloud Security Lead - SIEM

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Security Lead to spearhead our cloud security strategy and operations.

As the Cloud Security Lead, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust security frameworks across cloud environments, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloud-based assets.

You will lead a team of security professionals, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and guide the organization in adopting best practices and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and lead the cloud security strategy aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Architect and implement security controls across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, or others).
• Lead cloud security assessments, threat modeling, and risk analysis to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
• Manage and enforce policies for identity and access management (IAM), data protection, encryption, network security, and endpoint security in the cloud.
• Oversee the configuration and management of cloud security tools such as cloud-native firewalls, WAFs, CASBs, and vulnerability scanners.
• Design and implement incident response plans specific to cloud environments; lead investigations and remediation efforts for cloud security incidents.
• Drive automation of security operations through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and security orchestration tools.
• Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and compliance teams to integrate security into CI / CD pipelines and cloud deployment workflows.
• Stay current with emerging cloud security threats, industry trends, and compliance requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.
• Mentor and manage the cloud security team, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Prepare and present reports on cloud security posture, risks, and improvements to senior leadership and stakeholders.
