Job Title : SAP FICO Consultant (COPA, Costing & Taxation)

Experience : 5 - 10 years

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with deep expertise in COPA (Controlling Profitability Analysis), Costing, and Taxation. The role involves end-to-end configuration, implementation, and support of SAP FICO solutions, with a strong focus on integrating financial and controlling processes seamlessly with other SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP FICO Configuration & Implementation :

Implement, configure, and support the SAP FICO module with integration to SD, MM, and PP.
Configure and support COPA, Costing, and Tax processes in SAP.

COPA (Profitability Analysis) :

Configure COPA settings including valuation, report painter, and profitability segments.

Design processes for contribution margin, actual costing, and profitability reporting.

Capture, analyze, and report profitability data to enable informed Lead product costing, cost center, internal order, and activity-based costing processes.

Manage cost roll-ups, WIP, and variance analysis.

Provide insights and recommendations for improving cost management and Configure SAP tax solutions for indirect tax, VAT, GST, and region-specific taxation requirements.

Integrate tax reporting structures with financial processes and ensure compliance.

Collaborate with legal and tax departments on regulatory updates.

Integration & Troubleshooting;

Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve SAP FICO integration issues.

Lead testing, upgrades, and data migration activities for FICO.

Reporting & Analytics :

Develop financial and management reporting frameworks in SAP.

Provide actionable reports for business decision-making and process optimization.

Training & Support :

Conduct end-user training sessions on SAP FICO processes.

Provide ongoing user support and issue resolution.

Project Management :

Drive SAP implementation projects from requirement gathering to go-live.

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field.

5-10 years experience in SAP FICO, with strong focus on COPA, Costing, and Taxation.

Proven expertise in Profitability Analysis (COPA) configuration and reporting.

Strong knowledge of Product Costing (standard, actual, variance analysis).

Experience configuring SAP Taxation (VAT, GST, indirect tax).

Hands-on experience with SAP FICO integration (SD, MM, PP).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with SAP S / 4HANA.

Knowledge of regulatory tax changes.

Prior work in a global / multinational company.

SAP FICO Certification (preferred).
