About This Opportunity

Job Title : Software Engineer I - Backend

Location : Bengaluru

Job Description : We are seeking a passionate and skilled Backend Software Engineer with expertise in Node.js to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance backend systems, designing RESTful APIs, GraphQl, integrating with databases and caching layers, and deploying code using modern DevOps practices.

Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.js
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs
  • Good knowledge on Microservice Architecture
  • Manage data models and caching mechanisms with RDBMS
  • Develop and maintain with Complex Systems
  • Develop and maintain with Kafka, Elasticsearch Etc
  • Containerize applications using Docker and support CI / CD pipelines
  • Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and resilience
  • Debug and resolve issues across development, staging, and production environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement robust solutions
  • Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code following best practices

    • Technical Skills :

  • Strong proficiency in Node.js, Express.js
  • Hands-on experience with RDBMS

    • Good to have :

  • Familiarity with Technologies like Kafka, AWS, Elasticsearch, GraphQl
  • Knowledge of Docker for containerization
  • Understanding of CI / CD processes and tools
  • Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha
  • Proficient in Git and version control best practices

    • Soft Skills :

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ownership-driven with a proactive attitude
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams is a plus

    • Education & Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 4+ years of backend development experience with the Node.js stack
