Site Reliability Engineer

The right candidate will put the customer first, understand their user stories and will identify ways to support them, ensuring stability and ability to scale and meeting the needs both of our customers and other Workday technical teams. In this role you will take ownership and will be passionate about operational excellence, automation, and developing self-service tooling to enable rapid innovation for developers.

With constant attention and focus on our customers, you will deliver quickly on a wide range of daily tasks - from environment provisioning, monitoring, environment troubleshooting, incident management, ad-hoc requests and automation efforts - while providing transparency of work being performed. Collaborating and communicating with other teams is crucial to achieve success.

About You

Basic Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of software and systems delivery experience
• 2+ years of Development and Operations experience on a public cloud platform (AWS / GCP / Azure / Oracle)
• 2+ yrs experience with Kubernetes
• 1+ year of experience with software development using Go Lang, Python, Java or equivalent
• 1+ year Linux Scripting experience
