TM - Backend Product Manager

Job Purpose

We are seeking a Backend Product Manager who will serve as the central nervous system of our commerce technology stack. This role is responsible for shaping the foundational systems behind how orders are promised, processed, fulfilled, and delivered across brands, pin codes, and edge cases. Your mission will be to design and orchestrate robust, modular systems that power logistics intelligence, OMS, ERP, POS, and omnichannel capabilities at scale.

This is not a typical PM role — it's a deep, systems-level position ideal for someone passionate about building scalable commerce logic and seamless backend operations.

Key Responsibilities

Core Backend Platform Thinking

• Drive the Order Management System (OMS) : Handle order lifecycle logic (partial shipments, returns, cancellations, RTOs), and inventory reservation and release.
• Integrate with ERP systems for financial flows : GRNs, invoice generation, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with POS systems : Enable real-time inventory sync, split order flows, click & collect, and store-based fulfilment.
• Power omnichannel infrastructure including :
• BOPIS (Buy Online, Pickup in Store)
• BORIS (Buy Online, Return in Store)
• Inter-warehouse transfers and store handovers (tag loop management)
