Role Overview
Join us as a Pre‑Sales Engineer to support tenders & project bids across India. You'll play a pivotal role delivering technical proposals, BOQs, and aiding sales with expert product knowledge in automation and IIoT.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with clients to gather requirements, support technical discussions, and present solutionsPrepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and BOQsInterpret electrical / PLC control panel specifications and IIoT solution architectureCoordinate with engineering & production teams to scope projects, pricing, and timelinesEvaluate RFQs, support in-house tender documentation, and ensure complianceMaintain ongoing dialogue with leads—manage follow-ups, escalate hurdles, and close opportunitiesIndependently handle small-to-mid-size project estimations end-to-endStay current with emerging trends, industrial protocols, and IIoT technologiesRequired Qualifications & Skills
Diploma / B.E. in relevant technical discipline1–3 years in industrial automation / control systemsFamiliarity with electrical control panels, PLCs, SCADA, and IIoT platformsProven experience in BOQ creation, cost estimation, and client-facing proposalsStrong communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skillsProficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD basics, and documentation toolsSelf-driven, detail-oriented, and able to collaborate cross-functionallyPreferred Experience
Exposure to industrial protocols : Modbus, MQTT, OPC-UA, etc.Familiarity with government tender portals like GeM / eProcurementBasic knowledge of CRM / project tools and digital tender platformsWhy Thingslista Automation
