Investing.com, the leading global financial news & data platform, is seeking a dedicated and flexible U.S. Financial Market Writer with a deep passion for the global and U.S. stock markets to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with editors to research, write, and publish articles in English that reach a diverse international audience.

What you’ll be doing :

Write accurate, timely, and engaging market updates focused on U.S. financial markets, covering equities, economy, commodities, forex, and macroeconomic developments.

Analyze and interpret key U.S. economic data, including inflation releases, labor market indicators, and other high-impact reports that drive market sentiment.

Provide clear and concise coverage of Federal Reserve policy, including FOMC meetings, speeches, minutes, and their implications for markets.

Research and synthesize information from a wide range of credible sources, including press releases, SEC filings, earnings reports, economic data, and sell-side research.

Work closely with editors to ensure analytical accuracy, strong narrative flow, and alignment with editorial standards and deadlines.

Use AI tools to streamline workflows while ensuring that all published content reflects human insight, judgment, and journalistic quality.

Monitor real-time market movements and news flow to produce fast, relevant updates for a U.S. audience across all asset classes.

What you’ll bring :

At least 5 years in financial journalism or markets-focused writing, ideally covering U.S. equities and macroeconomics; preferably within fast-paced, established newsrooms covering U.S. markets.

Native-level English proficiency with exceptional writing, editing, and headline-crafting abilities.

Deep understanding of U.S. financial markets, including equities, bonds, commodities, FX, and the broader macro landscape.

A track record of breaking news and building trusted, high-level sources.

Strong grasp of Federal Reserve policy, FOMC communication, and how economic data influences market pricing.

Ability to translate complex market developments, data releases, and policy shifts into clear, engaging, reader-friendly narratives.

Sharp analytical skills and a rigorous approach to accuracy, sourcing, and fact-checking.

Availability to work U.S. market hours (8 AM ET-5 PM ET).

Willingness to work outside of U.S. market hours to cover major market developments.

Familiarity with AI tools as part of the content workflow, while maintaining human judgment and editorial quality.

Ability to collaborate seamlessly with editors and cross-functional teams.

Competence in using market data platforms, economic calendars, and basic analytical tools to support reporting.

Initiative-based approach to cover market moving developments.
