Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site 6-month paid Fellowship based in West Bengal. The Fellow will engage in conducting research, compiling insights, and contributing to storytelling initiatives that strengthen connections between citizens and decision-makers. Key responsibilities include developing communication strategies, preparing reports and presentations, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on policy projects, and facilitating workshops or dialogue sessions. The role requires a proactive approach to fostering inclusiveness, innovation, and impactful engagement in the political and public space.

Qualifications

• Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to gather, synthesise, and present information effectively.
• Proficiency in writing, including content creation, policy briefs, and storytelling techniques.
• Skills in communication strategy development and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaboration experience, particularly in working with cross-disciplinary teams or managing projects.
• Ability to facilitate meaningful discussions and contribute to fostering inclusive dialogue.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and the capability to manage deadlines.
• A passion for public service, ethical leadership, and a commitment to shaping participatory governance.
• A bachelor’s in Political Science, Public Policy, Communication, or related fields is advantageous.
