Rail Alignment Specialist [Urgent]

UMTS SAL is seeking an experienced Rail Alignment Specialist to lead a critical project involving Ship-to-Shore (STS) crane rail systems at a major container terminal in West Africa.

Role Overview :

As Project Lead, you will oversee the full lifecycle of the rail alignment scope — from planning and precision surveying to execution, compliance, and final acceptance. This role requires hands-on expertise in STS crane rail installation, straightness measurement, leveling, and welding coordination. You will be the technical authority on-site, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time, and to international standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead rail alignment operations for STS crane rails (including straightness, leveling, anchoring, and welding interfaces).
• Supervise site teams and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to OEM, ISO, and DIN standards.
• Coordinate with clients, third-party inspectors, and internal technical teams.
• Prepare daily reports, progress tracking, and method statement updates.
• Provide technical solutions to overcome on-site challenges.
