Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Panchkarma Therapist located in New Delhi / Noida. The Panchkarma Therapist will be responsible for performing Panchkarma therapies, conducting patient consultations, creating treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress. Additional responsibilities include maintaining patient records, ensuring patient comfort, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
The job description would require
- Perform all Panchakarma procedures such as Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Swedana, Nasya, Vasti, Kati Basti, Netra Tarpana, and other therapies as prescribed by the Ayurvedic doctor.
- Prepare herbal oils, decoctions, and therapy materials as per Ayurvedic protocols.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and peaceful therapy environment.
- Conduct client pre- and post-therapy procedures with professionalism and care.
- Record and report therapy details, client feedback, and observations to the supervising doctor.
- Ensure client comfort and privacy during treatments.
- Follow safety and hygiene protocols for all instruments, oils, and linens.
- Support wellness programs, workshops, and Ayurvedic consultations when required.
- Maintain stock of Panchakarma materials and report any shortages.
Qualification & Skills
Diploma or Certification in Panchakarma Therapy or Ayurvedic Nursing from a recognized institution.1–3 years of experience as a Panchakarma Therapist preferred (freshers may also apply).Good knowledge of Ayurvedic principles, therapies, and oils.Knowledge of Ayurveda principles and treatmentsCompassionate and patient-centered approach to careExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Physically fit and able to perform hands-on therapies for extended periods.Polite, disciplined, and service-oriented attitude.Basic understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and client confidentiality.Skills Required
