About the Role

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with strong experience in API testing , UI automation , and database validation . The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Java Selenium, solid understanding of SQL, and exposure to performance or AI-based testing would be a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Perform API testing (manual) including validation of request / response payloads, headers, status codes, and error handling.

Develop and maintain UI automation scripts using Java + Selenium .

Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure end-to-end test coverage.

Conduct database testing , write and execute basic SQL queries, and validate backend data integrity.

Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug-tracking tools.

Execute regression, functional, and integration test cycles.

Participate in test planning, effort estimation, and continuous process improvements.

(Nice to have) Assist in performance testing , monitor CPU utilization, and identify system bottlenecks.

(Nice to have) Contribute to AI-based testing initiatives or automation enhancements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

4–7 years of hands-on experience in software QA
