Role Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Executive – R&D with strong formulation expertise, hands-on lab experience, and regulatory compliance knowledge to drive end-to-end product development across skincare, haircare, and bodycare categories.

Key Responsibilities:

Formulation & Development

• Develop and optimize formulations (emulsions, gels, serums, creams, shampoos, conditioners, body care formats).
• Work with functional and active ingredients (AHAs, BHAs, caffeine, niacinamide, peptides, etc.).
• Troubleshoot stability, viscosity, compatibility, and preservative-related issues.
• Support scale-up from lab to pilot and commercial batches.

Lab Operations

• Conduct bench trials, stability studies (accelerated & real-time), and compatibility testing.
• Operate lab equipment (homogenizer, pH meter, viscometer, stability chambers).
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure adherence to GLP and lab safety norms.

Regulatory & Compliance

• Ensure ingredient and formulation compliance as per CDSCO, BIS, and applicable regulations.
• Review MSDS/COA/TDS and prepare PIFs and technical documentation.
• Coordinate dermatological, safety, and efficacy testing with third-party labs.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with Marketing, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Quality teams for smooth product commercialization.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharma, or related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on formulation experience in beauty/personal care.
• Strong knowledge of emulsifiers, surfactants, preservatives, rheology modifiers, and active stability.
• Experience in stability testing, regulatory documentation, and tech transfer.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
