Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, API development, and Microservices architecture .

The ideal candidate will design and build scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs. Exposure to AWS Cloud and Databricks is an added advantage.

You will work closely with solution architects, data engineers, and DevOps teams to build reliable, secure, and efficient enterprise-grade applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java (Spring Boot) .

Implement scalable, reusable, and modular backend components.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver high-quality technical solutions.

Ensure performance, security, and scalability of services.

Participate in code reviews , unit testing , and CI / CD processes.

Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Integrate with databases, third-party APIs , and cloud-based services.

Contribute to architecture discussions, documentation, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years of professional experience in Java development .

Strong hands-on expertise in Spring Boot , Spring Framework , and Microservices architecture .

Proven experience in RESTful API design and development .

Good understanding of object-oriented design , data structures , and software design patterns .

Experience with SQL / NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

Familiarity with Git , Maven / Gradle , and CI / CD pipelines .

Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

Working knowledge of AWS Cloud (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, API Gateway).

Exposure to Databricks or other data integration / data processing platforms.

Experience with Docker , Kubernetes , or container-based deployments .

Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Knowledge of API documentation tools (Swagger, Postman, OpenAPI).
