Job Purpose :
The Factory Manager will lead the operations of the pharmaceutical formulation (FDF) plant , ensuring adherence to global regulatory standards, cGMP guidelines, and quality systems. The role requires expertise in plant management, audit handling, cost optimization, and people leadership to deliver high-quality products efficiently and compliantly.
Key Responsibilities :
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure adherence to global regulatory standards including USFDA, MHRA, WHO, and GMP.
- cGMP & Quality : Implement and monitor current Good Manufacturing Practices across all manufacturing and packaging operations.
- Plant Operations Management : Lead production, maintenance, and supply chain activities for seamless plant operations.
- EHS Compliance : Establish and maintain Environment, Health & Safety practices to ensure a safe working environment.
- Audit & Inspection Handling : Strategically lead regulatory, customer, and internal audits with a focus on zero non-compliance.
- Operational Excellence : Drive cost optimization, efficiency improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with R&D, QA, QC, SCM, and Engineering teams for effective product life-cycle management.
- Leadership & People Development : Manage a large workforce, develop high-performing teams, and foster a culture of quality, safety, and accountability.

Education :
B.Pharm / M.PharmM.Sc. – BiotechnologyMBA in Operations (preferred)(first preference will be given to candidates holding this additional qualification)Experience :
20+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with significant leadership experience in plant / factory management.Demonstrated track record of successfully managing audits and large-scale operations.Strong knowledge of EHS, cGMP, WHO-GMP,USFDA,and MHRA compliance, Lean / Kaizen, and operational excellence practices.
