Work Days : Wednesday–Sunday
Hours : 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM IST

In the role of Subtitling Specialist on the Subtitling Operations team, you will report to the Manager of Subtitling Operations.

About the role

As a Subtitling Specialist on the Subtitling Operations team, you will manage the delivery & transformation of existing subs for our streaming platform.

You will be a vital communication bridge between our Content Operations teams and our internal subtitling & dubbing teams at Crunchyroll. You will contribute your understanding of subtitle specs & style guides, as well as your experience in localization workflows across streaming, theatrical, digital transactional & home entertainment distribution to ensure that, no matter where our audience consumes our subtitles, they are best-in-class.

Core Areas of Responsibility

Monitor subtitle delivery tasks during weekend hours (Wed–Sun).

Monitor incoming materials from translators & licensors and vendors.

Follow up with teams if subs have not come in on schedule.

Check that files have ingested into Polaris and triage file naming and or technical issues with COPs & TMT if ingest fails.
