About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist / Data Scientist to join our growing analytics team. The ideal candidate will leverage SQL, Python, Machine Learning, and Pandas to deliver data-driven insights, optimize operations, and develop intelligent automation in a Quick Commerce environment.

Must-Have Skills :

Advanced proficiency in SQL
Strong programming skills in Python (with expertise in Pandas)
Solid understanding of Machine Learning (ML) algorithms (regression, classification, feature selection, optimization)
Experience with EDA, statistical modeling, and data-driven insights
Working knowledge of Spark or similar big data frameworks
Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.

Key Responsibilities :

Leverage SQL, Python (Pandas, Spark) to transform large-scale data into actionable insights.

Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), build statistical models, and generate business-critical insights.

Design and implement end-to-end ML solutions, including demand forecasting and operational optimization.

Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable analytical solutions.

Build agentic AI systems for autonomous decision-making to enhance operations and customer experience.

Develop LLM-based automation workflows to streamline pipelines and decision-making processes.

Partner with Data Engineering teams to design robust, real-time data pipelines ensuring high-quality data availability.

Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.

4+ years of experience working with Pandas / Spark or equivalent data technologies.

Strong expertise in SQL and spreadsheet-based analysis.

Hands-on experience in building and evaluating ML models.

Proficiency in data visualization, dashboards, and analytics products.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in demand forecasting within quick commerce, food delivery, or e-grocery domains.

Knowledge of supply chain analytics, inventory optimization, and logistics planning.

Hands-on experience with inventory optimization, replenishment planning, or automated PO / TO systems.
