Job Purpose :
The individual will be a part of Accounting and Business Support team assisting clients in managing their accounting including preparation of MIS and other reports and various applicable compliances including but not limited to Payroll including labour laws, tax withholding, Goods and Services tax, Corporate tax, Reserve bank of India and certifications for foreign remittances.
Role Responsibilities :
The incumbent shall be allocated 2-3 full retainer clients along with 1-2 clients with selected jobs and will be responsible for ensuring the agreed compliances for those clients. He / she shall work closely with 2 articles on these jobs and a assistant manager / deputy manager shall closely review his / her work. The responsibilities shall include but shall not be limited to :
- Ensuring timely compliances of various clients as per defined role mainly accounting, payroll, tax withholding, GST, corporate tax, RBI etc.
- Should be able to finalize end to end accounting including closures entries like prepaid, depreciation, provisions etc. for review by Senior
- Experience of preparing MIS and other reports including AR, AP, BRS etc.
- Should be able to prepare & finalize TDS returns, GST returns for review by Senior
- Keeping track of invoices on client and collection as per defined targets
- Regular updation of to do management software for the allocated clients and discussion with Assistant manager / Deputy manager
- Timely escalation of any important matter of clients with seniors
- Working knowledge of compliance related areas including accounting, accounting standards, payroll processing, GST, direct taxes (upto filing of tax return) and Corporate laws

Working experience of 2-4 years as an accountant in in professional services firm or more than 5-7 years experience in industry.Working knowledge in accounting issues and accounting standards (including IND AS) as applicable in India.Working practical knowledge of tax withholding, payroll processing, direct and indirect tax compliances.Basic understanding of labour laws and Companies Act 2013.Skills Required
