We are currently hiring for Power BI Developer(Snowflake) with Emids Technologies(MNC) @ Bangalore

Job Title : Power BI Developer with Snowflake

Location : Bangalore / Hyderabad / Noida (2 days work from office)

Experience : 6 – 12 yrs

Job Type : Permanent (Hybird Model )

Notice Period : Immediate to 15 days Only

Job Overview :

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize business metrics.
  • Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and validate data from Snowflake.
  • Design and implement efficient data models within Power BI using best practices.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver tailored BI solutions.
  • Perform data validation, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Optimize performance of Power BI reports and Snowflake queries.
  • Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes for reporting.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting needs across departments.

Qualifications : Required :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in Power BI report development and dashboard design.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL with experience in Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehouses.
  • Deep understanding of data modelling, DAX, Power Query (M), and performance tuning in Power BI.
  • Experience with data governance, security roles, and row-level security in Power BI.

    • Preferred :

  • Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) is a plus.
  • Exposure to ETL tools (e.g., dbt, Talend, DataStage).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
