Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated website developer with extensive experience in building, managing, and customizing WordPress and Shopify websites. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of custom-coded solutions, plugin integration, API handling, and bringing Figma designs to life.

Responsibilities :

Custom Website Development :

Build and maintain WordPress and Shopify websites with custom code to meet specific client needs.

Create and modify themes, templates, and layouts, ensuring the design is functional and optimized for both desktop and mobile views.

Plugin & App Integration :

Integrate and configure various WordPress plugins and Shopify apps to extend website functionality.

Customize plugins and apps where necessary to match the client's requirements.

Lead Form & Data Integration :

Integrate lead capture forms (such as contact forms, sign-ups, etc.) seamlessly within WordPress and Shopify sites.

Work with APIs to migrate past data and integrate third-party services such as CRMs, email marketing tools, payment gateways, and more.

Figma to Website Conversion :

Work closely with designers to translate Figma mockups into live, functional websites.

Ensure pixel-perfect implementation of Figma designs on both WordPress and Shopify platforms, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance :

Regularly monitor the websites to identify and fix bugs, optimize performance, and ensure security.

Provide ongoing support and updates to websites, addressing client needs and evolving requirements.

Qualifications : Technical Skills :

Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Liquid (for Shopify).

Expertise in building custom WordPress themes and plugins.

Experience with Shopify's back-end and front-end development.

Proficient in integrating APIs for data import / export and lead generation.

Knowledge of version control (Git) and collaborative development tools.

Design & UX / UI :

Ability to convert Figma (or other design tools) designs into responsive, functional websites.

Strong attention to detail and ability to match design specifications precisely.

Additional Knowledge :

Familiarity with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.).

Experience with WooCommerce and Shopify Plus a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Soft Skills :

Strong communication skills for working with clients and team members.

Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications :

Knowledge of advanced WordPress features (such as custom post types, ACF, etc.).

Familiarity with website security best practices.

Experience in eCommerce conversion optimization (upsells, cross-sells, etc.).
