We are seeking a skilled Senior Engineer - Tool Design with a strong background in Aluminum Die Casting . The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing engineering drawings, designing tools and molds, and ensuring all designs adhere to DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles. You will play a crucial role in executing design reviews and driving yield improvement through innovative tool and electrode design.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Review : Conduct a thorough study of engineering drawings and perform design reviews as per DFM & DFA principles.
- Tool & Mold Design : Design tools and molds for Aluminum Die Casting using software like SolidWorks and AutoCAD . This includes defining crucial elements like Core & Cavity size .
- GDC & Yield Improvement : Specialize in GDC (Gravity Die Casting) mold design with a focus on yield improvement .
- Technical Execution : Execute comprehensive tool design reviews and perform tool designing and electrode designing and validation to ensure precision and quality.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Tool Design Engineer or in a similar role.Strong background in Aluminum Die Casting .Expertise in tool and mold design using SolidWorks and AutoCAD .In-depth knowledge of DFM & DFA principles.Experience in GDC mold design and yield improvement .Skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD .Meticulous attention to detail for tool and electrode design.Effective communication and collaboration skills for design reviews.Skills Required
