Overview

Yosi Health is looking for a  Solution Architect  who will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical foundation of our platform. This leader will be responsible for building tools and frameworks that increase client self-sufficiency, executing a major technology upgrade, and ensuring Yosi maintains a secure, scalable, and future-proof architecture. A central focus will be creating seamless integrations across major EMR / EHR systems (athena, Oracle, Cerner, AdvancedMD, ModMed, and others) while working closely with product managers to deliver the best in class solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Architecture & Upgrade

Lead the execution of Yosi’s technology upgrade, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.

Design and maintain a secure, HIPAA-compliant, and resilient system architecture.

Define best practices for system performance, data integrity, and security.

Integration & Interoperability

Architect and oversee integrations across diverse EMRs / EHRs (athena, Oracle, Cerner, AdvancedMD, ModMed, etc.).

Ensure interoperability using standards such as HL7, FHIR, and modern API frameworks.

Create unified workflows that deliver a seamless experience across Yosi’s product suite.

Self-Sufficiency Tools & Enablement

Develop tools, frameworks, and automation that empower clients and internal teams to configure and manage Yosi solutions independently.

Enhance the onboarding and implementation process through scalable, reusable architecture.

Cross-Functional Product Collaboration

Partner with product managers to define and prioritize architecture-driven product improvements.

Provide technical leadership and act as a bridge between engineering and product to ensure alignment on strategy and execution.

Serve as a subject matter expert in solution design for both internal stakeholders and enterprise clients.

Requirements

Required

12+ years of experience in solution architecture, systems design, or equivalent technical leadership roles.

Proven track record of architecting SaaS products with strong focus on  scalability, security, and interoperability .

Hands-on experience with EMR / EHR integrations (athena, Oracle, Cerner, AdvancedMD, ModMed preferred).

Expertise in interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, APIs) and healthcare compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC2).

Strong background in modern cloud architectures (AWS / Azure / GCP).

Excellent communication skills; able to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred

Experience building  self-service / self-sufficiency tools  in SaaS environments.

Exposure to workflow automation platforms and low-code / no-code configuration tools.

Prior experience in digital health, patient engagement, or practice management software.

Requirements

• Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience : Minimum of 9 years of experience in database administration, with a focus on high-availability environments.
• Technical Skills : ○ Proficiency in database technologies such as NOSQL, SQL Server, MySQL. ○ Experience with database programming languages like SQL, PL / SQL.. ○ Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions (AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database). ○ Experience reviewing SQL queries in API functions ○ Experience doing unit testing of SQL queries used across the application and providing sign-off for production deployment ○ Knowledge of database security best practices and compliance standards. ○ Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Soft Skills : ○ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. ○ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ○ Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ○ Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified : Azure Database Administrator Associate, or AWS Certified Database – Specialty.
• Experience in the healthcare industry or with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR). Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools related to database deployment and management.
