Structural Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

• Structural Design : Perform structural analysis and design for various projects, including residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure.
• Design Calculations : Utilize engineering principles and software tools to perform calculations, simulations, and analyses to ensure structural integrity and safety.
• Blueprint Review : Review architectural and engineering drawings to interpret project requirements and constraints.
• Material Selection : Select suitable materials and construction techniques considering cost, project specifications, and sustainability.
• Code Compliance : Ensure that all designs comply with local, state, and national building codes and standards.
• Drafting : Prepare detailed structural drawings and specifications for construction teams.
• Quality Assurance : Implement quality control measures to ensure designs are accurate, reliable, and safe.
• Collaboration : Work closely with architects, contractors, and engineers to integrate structural designs into overall project plans.
• Project Management : Manage and track project progress, budgets, and timelines for structural design tasks.
