Overview : We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect with a solid background in designing and implementing enterprise-grade solutions across multiple ServiceNow modules. This role involves planning, designing, and delivering technical architecture for ServiceNow solutions in alignment with client requirements. The role also involves technical and strategic thinking to grow the ServiceNow competency within the organisation. The ideal candidate has deep hands-on expertise, architectural experience, strong client interaction skills, and a problem-solving mindset.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and architect end-to-end ServiceNow solutions across a range of modules, including but not limited to ITSM, ITOM, CSM, SecOps, and others.
- Lead the development of custom applications, scoped apps, integrations, and Service Portal components.
- Plan and implement integration strategies using REST / SOAP APIs and other middleware tools for inbound, outbound, and bi-directional data flows.
- Provide technical leadership across the entire solution lifecycle – including requirements gathering, architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Prepare and review detailed technical specifications, solution design documents (HLD, LLD), and effort estimations based on scope and resource planning.
- Work closely with the business development teams and contribute to proposals, SOWs, and technical solutioning for new opportunities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are aligned with business needs.
- Implement and enforce quality standards and best practices across the platform.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to technical teams, conduct code reviews, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Engage in client-facing discussions, support technical proposals, and drive solution presentations.
Required Skills & Experience :
10+ years of overall IT experience with 7+ years of dedicated ServiceNow experienceMinimum 3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Technical Architect (preferred)Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, architecture, and development best practicesHands-on experience across key ServiceNow capabilities :o Core platform scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, etc.)
o Application development (Scoped and Global)
o Integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server)
o CMDB, Service Catalog, Workflows, and Notifications o Change, Incident, Problem, Asset, and Configuration Management
Proficiency in documenting technical requirements and solution designsStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex requirements and provide scalable solutionsExcellent communication and client interaction skillsAbility to work in Agile delivery environments and manage technical dependencies across teamsPreferred Qualifications :
ServiceNow Certifications (CSA, CIS, CAD) are preferredExposure to additional modules like HRSD, SecOps, GRC / IRM, APM, Discovery, etc., is a plusExperience in ServiceNow upgrades, performance tuning, and platform optimization
