Engineering Manager / Development Lead

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage cross-functional development teams working on mobile, web, and backend services.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact across scrum teams; ensure alignment with product and business objectives.
• Participate in daily scrum meetings and sprint planning activities.
• Conduct in-depth code reviews, promote engineering best practices, and ensure code quality.
• Drive technical discussions and propose system architecture improvements and refactoring where needed.
• Collaborate weekly with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to define sprint priorities and delivery goals.
• Conduct weekly 1 : 1s with developers to understand progress, challenges, and provide mentoring.
• Maintain daily alignment with leadership and provide updates on project status and risks.
• Run and test applications locally to verify developer contributions.
• Champion the adoption of secure coding practices and adherence to coding standards.
• Own the delivery pipeline and ensure DevOps and CI / CD best practices are and Skillset :
• 12-14 years of professional software development experience, with 35 years in engineering management or

technical leadership roles.

Languages / Frameworks : .NET, JavaScript / TypeScript, React / Angular, Node.js, REST APIs

Cloud Platform : Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, Storage, etc.)

DevOps Tools : Azure DevOps, Git, Docker, Kubernetes (optional)

Project Tools : JIRA, Confluence, Slack / MS Teams
