Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant, located in Pune. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and reconciling bank statements. They will also be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes. Additionally, the Accountant will work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting. Other day-to-day tasks may include processing invoices, managing accounts receivable / payable, and preparing tax documents.

Compensations

The expected range for this role is ₹2,00,000 – ₹4,00,000 . Final compensation will depend on the candidate’s portfolio, skills, and relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Financial Analysis skills
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work with numerical data
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience in the retail or grocery industry is a plus
• Professional certification such as CPA or CA is a plus
