The opportunity

We're seeking a skilled Manager specializing in Business Valuations within the financial services sector, focusing on Banking and Insurance, to join EY-VME (Valuation, Modelling, and Economics. Ideal candidates will possess in-depth knowledge of banking and Insurance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), adept at interpreting complex financial data. Responsibilities include leading valuation processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving strategic decision-making. The candidate must demonstrate strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, fostering collaboration within the team.

Your key responsibilities

• Manage engagements for business valuations in Banking and Insurance sectors; mergers and acquisitions (M&A); financial reporting; tax and regulatory compliance; restructuring and reorganization; and corporate strategy.
• Identify issues and propose strategies related to the procedures executed.
• Assume a steering role in report generation and detailed financial modelling.
• Maintain and develop positive, productive, and professional relationships with EY offices globally
• Supervise, develop and mentor professionals at the Staff and Senior level.
• Demonstrate teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members.
• Manage a team of 5-10 Valuation professionals
• Use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of services provided.
