About the Role
As an EAM Solution Consultant, you will be a critical delivery leader within our Value360 Transformation Programs, owning the solution design, customer engagement, and value realization for maintenance and operations deployments. You will lead workshops, craft solution architectures, model financial impact (EBITDA gains), and guide customers through the solution journey—from discovery to implementation and ROI validation. Your work will directly influence how some of the largest industrial enterprises improve execution discipline, reliability, safety, and cost efficiency .
Key Responsibilities :
Business Discovery & Value Hypothesis
Lead onsite or virtual discovery sessions with maintenance, operations, and reliability teams in Oil & Gas, Chemicals, and other asset-heavy industries.
Document “as-is” processes through Day-In-the-Life (DILO) shadowing, time-on-tools analysis, and notification quality audits.
Create Value Hypotheses that link work management KPIs (e.g., backlog weeks, OT %, PM / CM ratio) to hard-dollar EBITDA impact.
Conduct Work Management Maturity Assessments , benchmarking planning / scheduling / execution practices against industry standards.
Solution Design & Value Realization
Drive Value-Based Discovery & Design - Lead workshops with stakeholders across Maintenance, Operations, Reliability, and Supply Chain to baseline KPIs (e.g., backlog weeks, OT %, contractor $, PM / CM mix, wrench time) and translate findings into user stories, business process flows, and solution blueprints aligned with the Value360 framework.
Translate EAM Use Cases into Digital Execution Models - Map field execution gaps (e.g., LOTO, permit delays, spare parts coordination, missed inspections) to Connected Worker Platform modules such as mWorkOrder, mInventory, Operator Rounds, and Digital Permits, focusing on driving measurable impact in reliability, safety, and cost optimization.
Ensure Adoption, Governance, and KPI Ownership - Support configuration teams in aligning system setup with business process expectations, coach frontline teams through change, and contribute to Value Scorecard governance by tracking early KPIs (e.g., permit-ready %, schedule compliance, time-on-tools, quality notifications) and linking them to financial run-rate improvements.
Customer Engagement & Facilitation
Facilitate cross-functional workshops with planners, schedulers, reliability engineers, supply chain, and EHS stakeholders to align solution scope.
Present solution designs to customer Steering Committees and obtain formal design approvals and signoffs.
Act as the primary customer-facing consultant during pre-implementation and implementation phases for solution design validation.
Product Configuration Oversight & Testing
Work closely with solution engineering to guide the configuration of platform based on approved designs and best practices.
Define and oversee test case development, test execution, and results validation using RTMs (Requirements Traceability Matrices).
Ensure that field use cases (e.g., LOTO, Operator Rounds, Spares Picklist) are functionally validated with realistic mock data or pilots.
Change Management & Training Support
Support development of training assets (videos, quick start guides, SOP overlays) tailored for frontline workers in industrial environments.
Assist with “train-the-trainer” programs and adoption campaigns for technicians, operators, and supervisors.
Provide guidance for KPIs to monitor adoption, such as digital work order completion rates, permit-ready %, notification rates, etc.
Value Realization & Post-Go-Live Support
Participate in post-go-live Value Realization Office (VRO) meetings to assess leading and lagging KPI performance.
Help validate early wins (e.g., improved schedule compliance, reduced OT %, backlog trending) against pre-defined value targets.
Contribute to quarterly Value Scorecards that are reviewed with executive stakeholders and finance teams.
Product Enablement & Advisory
Advise customers on mobility best practices in asset-intensive operations (SAP PM, maintenance execution, planning / scheduling, permitting, inspections).
Translate business scenarios into actionable SAP EAM configurations within the Connected Worker Platform (e.g., iMaintenance, Operator Rounds, Permits, mInventory).
Recommend and drive adoption of best-practice planning, scheduling, and execution norms.
Solution Delivery & Adoption
Oversee the configuration activities performed by Implementation Consultants, ensuring alignment to documented design and standards.
Own test scenario definition, value traceability (via RTM), and rollout success criteria.
Drive user adoption through DILO-based coaching, training materials, and KPI dashboards.
What You’ll Bring
5+ years as a functional SME in maintenance operations along with basic understanding of backend EAM application like SAP PM, MAS 8 or above.
Experience in leading EAM based solution implementations focused on Work Order Execution, Planning & Scheduling, Notifications, Inspections, and MRO.
Proven ability to lead customer-facing workshops, build value-based business cases, and document functional requirements.
Knowledge of agile methods and familiarity with solution configuration, change management, and business process transformation.
