Job Description :

Core Technical Skills

Primary Skills

Expertise in UFT tool

Proficient in VBScript

Strong understanding of Object Repository : Both shared and local repositories, and dynamic object handling.

Framework Design : Experience building and maintaining keyword-driven, data-driven, and hybrid frameworks.

Database Validation : Writing SQL queries for backend verification.

Error Handling & Recovery Scenarios : Implementing robust error-handling mechanisms.

Basic knowledge of Python language and Shell scripting

Debugging concepts in UFT

Secondary Skills

Basic knowledge of Java programming (OOP concepts, exception handling, collections).

Understanding of Selenium WebDriver (locators, browser automation, handling alerts / frames).

Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Tools

Jenkins or CI / CD tools : For continuous integration and test execution.

Excel & Data Tables : For parameterization and data-driven testing.

Version Control : Familiarity with Git, SVN, or similar tools.

Soft Skills

Analytical Thinking : Ability to troubleshoot and optimize test scripts.

Communication : Collaborating with developers, testers, and business analysts.

Agile / Scrum Experience : Participating in sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
