Job descriptionDeliver 3rd level technical support in compliance with customer SLAs. Handle daily compute operations (Events, Incidents, Service Requests, Change Requests, RCA) following ITIL processes. Perform server installation, maintenance, monitoring, decommissioning, and special configurations beyond automated tasks. Support storage operations based on NetApp-NFS. Manage package / repository and maintain OS images. Execute patch management using BladeLogic Automation. Configure and roll out server-related monitoring / alerts. Conduct performance testing and analysis. Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for customer incidents. Maintain documentation, testing, and knowledge transfer for services / tasks. Assist 2nd-level technical support in handling complex issues. Be willing to participate in On-Call setup, including weekends or public holidays, if required by the project.

Experience Required : 36 years of proven experience in Linux Server Management & Administration.
Key Skills & Expertise :
- Strong hands-on experience in Linux OS operations.
- Server (physical / VM) installation, maintenance & decommissioning.
- Knowledge of hypervisor operations (XEN, VMware).
- Proficiency in LVM, DNS, LDAP, IPTables.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in server downtime situations.
- Good understanding of physical server management.
- Working knowledge of at least one public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Basic knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Chef) and scripting.
- Flexible to work in 24x7 shift environment.
