Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and update Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM) in accordance with ATA iSpec 2200 and S1000D standards.
- Interpret engineering drawings, design data, and change notes to create accurate maintenance procedures.
- Analyze inputs from design, engineering, and service bulletins to produce or update maintenance documentation.
- Ensure that authored content complies with customer specifications, OEM guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Review and revise existing maintenance documentation based on feedback or engineering changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, technical publications, and quality assurance.
- Maintain consistency, accuracy, and clarity in technical documentation.
- Support configuration control, data validation, and publication release activities.
Required Qualifications :
2–9 years of experience in authoring Aircraft Maintenance Manuals or other aviation technical publications.Strong understanding of aircraft systems, structures, and maintenance procedures.Experience with authoring tools such as Arbortext Editor, Oxygen XML, FrameMaker , or equivalent.Familiarity with ATA iSpec 2200 , S1000D , and other aerospace documentation standards.Good understanding of engineering drawings and maintenance engineering principles.Skills Required
