Job Description
Enterprise Architect will be focusing on the development of our Mobile Device Management (MDM) product. This role is a blend of strategic architectural leadership and hands-on, low-level technical execution. The person will be responsible for defining the technical vision and roadmap for our product while also contributing directly to its development, with a specific emphasis on the Go programming language.
Core Competencies Technical
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or a similar senior technical leadership role, preferably within a software product company.
- Strong hands-on experience in backend software development, with a minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in Go (Golang).
- Expertise in designing and building scalable, distributed systems, microservices, and APIs.
- Deep understanding of MDM principles and related technologies (e.g., Apple Push Notification service, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, device enrolment programs, device policy management) covering Android, iPadOS, tvOS, macOS, Windows, Chrome OS, and iOS devices.
- Familiarity with smart wearable device ecosystems, including communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth LE) and data handling.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes is essential.
- Solid grasp of database technologies, both relational and NoSQL.

Architectural Strategy & Design : Define and own the t echnical architecture and roadmap for the MDM product . This includes system design, component integration,data architecture, and security protocols for a diverse range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, and smart wearables (e.g., smartwatches, AR / VR headsets,specialized health monitors) . Ensure the architecture is scalable, secure, and maintainable.Hands-on Development : Actively contribute to the codebase, writing high-quality,efficient, and well-documented code in Go. This includes developing core backend services, APIs, and microservices.Technical Leadership : Serve as a subject matter expert and technical mentor for the engineering team. Lead technical discussions, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in software development.Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with product management, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs.Innovation & Research : Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly in MDM, wearable technology, cybersecurity, and cloud-native architectures. Evaluate and propose new technologies to improve our product.Performance & Scalability : Identify and address performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges within the system. Design solutions that can handle a large number of connected devices and high-volume data traffic, including the unique data payloads from smart wearables.Customer Implementation & Success : Act as a senior technical advisor for key customer implementations around the globe. Work with the customer success and support teams to address complex architectural challenges during product deployment.Implementation Strategy :
Provide guidance on best practices for deploying the MDM product in various customer environments (e.g., on-premise, cloud, hybrid).
Troubleshooting :
Serve as a top-tier escalation point for complex technical issues that arise during customer rollouts, providing deep architectural insight to resolve problems.
Feedback Loop :
Gather direct feedback from customers regarding implementation challenges and product pain points. Translate this feedback into actionable items for the product and engineering teams, influencing the product roadmap to ensure long-term customer success.
