Engineering Manager - ServiceNow

What will you do?
You will be responsible for managing and leading a high performing team of 25+ technical developers, functional consultants, and / or DevOps engineers at Plat4mation, India. Your primary focus will be on people management by fostering a high-performing team culture, ensuring the successful delivery of services to both customers and internal ServiceNow teams, as part of a global network. As a people leader, you will play a key role in mentoring and developing talent, implementing Plat4mation-wide standards, and driving continuous improvement across teams. You will work closely with onshore delivery leads and managers, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment on project goals and deliverables. We expect our leaders to stay engaged with the team’s progress, provide guidance and support, and ensure alignment with business objectives. You will lead by example, champion our Core Values, and step in to support team members whenever necessary. In addition to managing the team, you will contribute to pre-sales and solutioning efforts as a consultant and success advisor for new prospects, ensuring that your insights directly impact the growth of the business. This role will report directly to the Director of Delivery, India.
Next to managing the team you will contribute to a delivery role, e.g. by working as a technical consultant / success advisor / project lead / Architect in a customer assignment where applicable (30 to 35%)
In your role as the Engineering Manager, ServiceNow (65 to 70%) your responsibilities are.
Scheduling & Chargeability :
- Scheduling of team members to projects
- Scheduling of projects, opportunities and internal tasks linked to the team
- Accountable for Utilization of Team members (billable vs non-billable)
- Work with the customer delivery lead to always improve team chargeability
- Responsible for demand and supply
Team & Knowledge Management

You have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degreeYou have at least 9to 16 years of overall experience working in a dynamic consulting organizationMinimum 2 to 3 years of experience with managing team members as manager.Should have grown from a developer to a lead / manager roleExperience with implementing ServiceNow is a big plusWork experience in ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSDM, CMDB, HRSD, IRM, SecOps is an advantage.CIS Certification’s in ServiceNow will be a great assetExperience in managing workstreams or projects as well as pre-salesExperience with working with KPI’s, project finance and professional servicesFluent in English.Proficient with MS office toolsYou like to make others successful and happyYou are hands-on and prefers to have management activities in your job descriptionYou are highly analytical, emphatic and have excellent communication skills
