Job Title : Fashion Design Faculty

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor students in Fashion Design fundamentals, including garment construction, pattern making, draping, textiles, and fashion illustration.
• Deliver engaging lectures, practical workshops, and studio sessions.
• Guide students in portfolio development and creative projects.
• Stay updated with current fashion trends and technologies to enhance the curriculum.
• Support students in preparing for competitions, exhibitions, and industry projects.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and evaluation.
• Provide career guidance, internships, and placement support to students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to organize seminars, fashion shows, and guest lectures.
• Qualifications
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field (NIFT / NID or reputed institute preferred).
• Prior teaching / training experience in fashion design (minimum 2–3 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of fashion illustration, garment construction, CAD tools (CorelDRAW, Photoshop, Illustrator, CLO3D, etc.).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to inspire and mentor students with creativity and innovation.
• Industry exposure through fashion shows, design houses, or brand collaborations will be an added advantage.
