SAP Security Specialist (WFH - Contract)

We have a SAP Security Specialist position (Contract - Work-from-Home) for one of our clients who is a niche US product company.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain SAP security roles and authorizations across multiple SAP systems.

Lead roles redesign projects to streamline access, reduce SoD conflicts, and align with evolving business needs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into secure SAP access models.

Manage user provisioning, role assignments, and access reviews.

Handle SAP security incidents and requests using ServiceNow Incident and Change Management workflows.

Support internal and external audits (SOX, GDPR, etc.) and ensure compliance.

Document security processes, role design standards, and change management procedures.

Participate in SAP upgrades, migrations, and implementations from a security perspective.

Willing to work in shifts, as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor Degree is required
• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Security administration
• Proven expertise in role redesign and optimization
• Strong command of SAP authorization concepts (PFCG, SU01, SUIM, SU53)
• Experience with ServiceNow Incident and Change Management
• Familiarity with Access Control and SoD analysis
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Experience with cloud-based SAP solutions (SAP BTP, SuccessFactors) is a plus
