Job description

SUMMARY

The role will be primarily responsible for administration of a portfolio of Funds, including investors onboarding and corporate services. The role holder shall act a fiduciary oversight and ensure the Funds (AIF) operate in compliance with Regulations, and runs as per the Trust Deeds, and Private Placement Memorandums (PPM) and SEBI norms. The role holder is responsible for Investment executions within regulatory & PPM framework covering compliance and governance responsibilities, audits, regulatory filings, administration of portfolio of Funds and further strengthen the client base of Amicorp Fund Services in the country.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Updating the shareholders register of the investment funds under administration
  • Collecting the subscription documents and KYC documents of new investors
  • Ensuring timely SEBI / MCA / RBI filings, coordinating valuation and audit (annual audit, periodic valuation by independent valuer.) and facilitating trustee meetings
  • Managing KYC / AML, FATCA / CRS, and other regulatory checks during onboarding;
  • Act as compliance officer (mandatory appointment) ensures SEBI / MCA / RBI filings, KYC / AML / FATCA / CRS, insider trading & conflict monitoring.
  • Liaising with the group compliance department in connection with the investors’ acceptance process
  • Liaising with external service providers and stakeholders in connection with the Register and TA activity, 5AIFM, depository banks, investors, auditors)
  • SEBI filings (quarterly / annual), investor reporting (NAV, portfolio updates).
  • Supporting investor protection, maintaining statutory records, ensuring fair treatment, and enhancing transparency and conflict monitoring, ultimately strengthening Amicorp Fund Services' client base in the country
  • Managing the Governance – board / trustee meetings, conflict management, related party disclosures.
  • Regulatory Filings – FC-GPR, FLA return, ROC filings, FEMA compliance for foreign investors.
  • Ongoing monitoring of the shareholders register and updating of missing / expired KYC documents of investors.
  • Assisting the Account Managers of Fund Services by performing transactions related to investors : subscriptions, capital calls, redemptions, distributions, transfer of shares.
  • Assisting the Account Managers of Fund Services by fulfilling the reporting duties in connection with FATCA and CRS regulations
  • Assisting the Account Managers of Fund Services during the annual audit activity by providing support in relation to TA documents.

TIME RECORDING

  • Accurately record chargeable time and value of service using Maconomy, ensure effective monitoring of transactions, handle pricing, invoicing and collection of outstanding fees for the portfolio of clients.
  • Monitor own productivity and chargeability on weekly basis and review productivity and performance against targets. to ensure that individual financial targets and client communication KPIs are met.
  • Follow a disciplined approach to submitting timesheets for client work and meet the weekly and monthly time / chargeability targets
  • OTHER DUTIES

  • Undertake the role of director, trustee, nominee, manager, partner, secretary, authorized signatory or any related position in internal entities or client entities of Amicorp Group, where necessary and required by the Management.
  • Undertake such other duties, related to the position, as may from time to time be agreed with Management.
  • CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Finance and Accounting.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience within the funds industry.
  • Company Secretary from ICSI to handle corporate services apart from other services.
  • AIF operations knowledge, Compliance queries, SEBI(Alternative Investment Funds) Regulations, 2012) reporting, and investor servicing in a trusteeship environment.
  • Strong commercial mindset, takes initiative, positive and proactive, dedicated, focused and revenue and target driven.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent client facing skills. Well-developed spoken and written communication skills and the ability to tailor style to relevant audiences and successfully liaise with people at different levels.
  • Excellent English language fluency; additional languages preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, solution driven, highly organized and detail-orientated with good decision making and time management skills. Independent, hands-on and takes accountability to deliver solutions and results.
  • Ability to adapt and work in a smaller, dynamic local team environment; along with being part of a bigger matrix organization. Proven leadership and team player skills, with ambition to excel in the role.
