Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Writer for the digital desk (www.Hindimilap.Com) of our Daily Hindi newspaper. The selected candidate will be responsible for curating news from feeds, creating articles for the digital edition and publishing them effectively on our digital platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and select relevant stories from news feeds, reporters and other news sources.
  • Write compelling and accurate news articles in Hindi
  • Publish and manage content on the website
  • Optimize content according to SEO standards
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of news articles
  • Meet strict deadlines
  • Create content for social media platforms
  • Monitor trending news and topics
  • Coordinate with the editorial team for content priorities

Qualifications and Experience

Required Qualifications

  • Atleast 2 years of experience in a writing role in Hindi (blogging, stories, news, journalism etc.)
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in Hindi
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism / Mass Communication / Hindi Literature
  • Proficient in computer and internet usage
  • Ability to write quickly and accurately
  • Native or near-native proficiency in Hindi

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in digital publishing or blogging
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Understanding of basic SEO principles
  • Prior experience in news writing
  • Knowledge of digital media landscape
