Network Security Engineer - Mumbai

Job descriptionFortinet NSE- 4, CCNA Deep understanding of Networking knowledge and troubleshooting Product knowledge of Firewall (Fortigate, Checkpoint, Cisco, Pal alto), Web Firewalls, Load Balancer, DDOS, SSL, Routing Protocols, Dual Factor Authentication, VPN technologies, Web Filtering, Minimum 3+ years of experience in managing Web security gateways, perimeter security, network access controls, endpoint security. Device management, Health monitoring, Performance monitoring, Security analysis of Security Technology (Firewall, IPS / IDS, Proxy, Web Security, Mail Security, DNS, AAA, WAF, Two Factor Authentication, Cloud security, DDoS, etc.) Executing Standard change request for these security devices. Setting up the access policy for Network, Application-URL along with Network address translation rules, VLAN creation and Object creation (Hosts, Groups, Networks, Ranges and Service objects) Configuring administrator / Users accounts on these security devices. Proper and regular maintenance of security devices (for loading the latest firewall firmware, Activating the service license keys and enabling security services). Maintain VPNs, VLANs, VoIP, and web and email security and protocols. Specifying mode of operation, zones, IP address, subnet mask, hostname, static routes, DNS, SYSLOG. Track, record, troubleshoot, investigate, resolve and monitor network security breach / issue. Periodic testing of the organization’s network and systems from a security point of view. Proactively utilize network monitoring tools to isolate events before service degradation occurs Coordinating with users to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution for any trouble tickets Troubleshooting layers 1, 2 and 3 of the OSI Model Creating technical documentation, network diagrams, inventory control documentation, and security documentation Implement and maintain network security policy, standards, and procedures Preparation various reports - Incident, Capacity & other on weekly / monthly basis Be aware of the latest threats in the Network and cybersecurity domain.
The Network Security Engineer (NSE) will be a part of the Information Security department team.
Educational qualification :
- B.E / MCA / MSc -IT / Post-graduation in IT / BSc / BCA are preferred
